Unresponsive Display on MyCareLink Monitor ™ (24950/24952)
Welcome to the Medtronic Remote Monitoring program! We are excited to have you as a valued customer and look forward to assisting you in optimizing your experience with your new MyCareLink Monitor™. Let's run through some steps on how to troubleshoot an unresponsive MyCareLink Monitor™.
Why does the display not light up or freeze on the Medtronic logo?
The Medtronic logo appears on the MyCareLink Monitor™ (MCLM) screen as the monitor is booting to the start screen. It is possible that the MCLM became frozen during a software update.
Troubleshooting
- Restart the monitor by disconnecting then reconnecting the monitor’s power supply. If restarting your monitor does not correct the error or issue, continue with troubleshooting.
- Is the power restored after power cycling?
- If yes, allow the monitor to go into sleep mode or walk through transmission. (If the screen has been unresponsive for an extended period, you may need to allow the reader to charge to avoid additional error codes.)
- If no, go to the next step.
- Press the accept button to wake the screen.
- Does screen respond to pressing the accept button?
- If yes, allow the monitor to go into sleep mode or walk through transmission. (If the screen has been unresponsive for an extended period, you may need to allow the reader to charge to avoid additional error codes.)
- If no, go to the next step.
- If the screen does not appear, does the MCLM have power?
- If yes, secure the power cord and try another outlet.
