Symbols on Screen for MyCarelink™ Monitor
Welcome to the Medtronic Remote Monitoring program! We are excited to have you as a valued customer and look forward to assisting you in optimizing your experience with your new MyCareLink™ Patient Monitor. Let's run through what are the date and symbols that appear on the LCD screen of your MyCarelink™ Monitor.


When you press the Accept (round and gray) button, your MCLM screen will show the following information:
1. Reader Status Icon
- The reader icon may show the reader is charging, missing, or has a low battery.
2. Cellular Signal Icon
- This icon shows the status of the monitor’s connection to a cellular network. One cellular signal bar is required to complete a transmission via a cellular network.
3. Last Successful Transmission Icon and Date
- This icon shows the date of your last successful transmission to the CareLink Network. The date format shown on your monitor will depend on which country you are in.
4. Start Transmission
- This icon means the monitor is ready to begin a transmission. Press the “Accept” button on the front of the monitor to begin a transmission.
5. Magnifying Glass Icon
- This icon means that the monitor is searching for a cellular connection and it appears when turning on your bedside monitor. Please allow the monitor to connect and show the cellular signal bars in #2 before proceeding with at transmission.
