The Patient Assistant Model PA96000 is used to record (mark) heart rhythm data in the patient’s insertable cardiac monitor. It is an optional accessory your doctor may recommend that you carry to mark symptoms related to your heart condition. Data are stored in the cardiac device, not the Patient Assistant. The patient’s doctor uses the data to check their patient’s heart rhythm and to help determine if the patient’s symptoms are heart related. Examples of symptoms (sometimes called “events”) include fainting, palpitations, dizziness, and shortness of breath.
Your home transmitter will share what is happening with your heart the next time it sends information to your doctor
