Monitor Pairing Completion and Transmission Verification

  1. Make sure power is connected.
    • Use the provided power cord.
    • Plug the circular end into the jack on the side of the monitor.
    • Plug the other end into the power point.
  2. Follow On-Screen Instructions:
    • The monitor’s animated display screen will guide you step by step.
    • If the monitor is not receiving a cellular signal, move it to a location with a stronger signal, such as near a window, but still within 3 metres of where you sleep.
  3. Start Your Manual Transmission:
    • Press the accept button next to the animated display screen.
    • Remove the reader from the top of the monitor.
    • Place the reader over your heart device.
  4. Position the Reader:
    • A green bar will indicate correct positioning.
    • If prompted to reposition, adjust the reader for better information gathering.

When the monitor is finished communicating with your implanted device, the monitor will make two short tones, and the monitor screen will instruct you to return the reader to the monitor base.

The monitor will send your implanted device data to the CareLink™ network, and will show a green progress bar indicating that data is being sent.

Your transmission is complete when the monitor makes two short tones and the monitor screen shows a green check with transmission date. See Picture Below:

Note
Confirming the green checkmark and date ensures that your data has been sent and received securely.
